There were lights, there was camera, there was action. I was directing often, making short films and working in that tapped microverse which opens anytime seven artists come together united in one vision. Every problem an adventure, none without solutions. Electric and enfevered we were on a manic high. It was hard, it was good, it was wonder in a rushing cosmos. This painting is simple. It’s what I felt. It’s what my mind and soul looked like in motion. Since I’ve been focused more on writing than filming lately, I keep it up in my home. It’s a target I keep aiming for, a reminder of what I’m working towards while I find my people once more.
